And the fun Continues...
So this week so far has been draining. I guess the hardest things are getting adults to listen to a 24 year old and take me seriously. Plus I'm teaching basic Photoshop, Dreamweaver and Flash courses. It's hard at times too because Photoshop is 8hrs, Dreamweaver 8hrs and Flash 16hrs but I think some people's expectations are off because you can't become an expert after that and you need to practice and develop the skills on your own. One on One are cool because usually the person comes with a project in mind and you help themselves make it come alive. Group courses are harder of course!
Acrobat for Dummies!
The other day I had a group of mixed leveled secretaries so it was very hard to keep everyone on track! I was teaching how to create forms in Acrobat. One of the women could have learned the software on her own, then another was there because she was informed that the software could do something but in reality she couldn't do it herself it would take a programmer who can either do advanced XML or Javascript and the other was slow as molasses. At first I was introducing the software and showing them how you can import an office document and it auto detects the fields etc etc... Then I ran into technical difficulties, my software stopped working! My day already wasn't going good, I got lost in those turnabouts that they have in France or London and I ended up being late. When I got there Acrobat wasn't done installing on all the systems so I decided to wait for it to be done which later was like shooting myself in the foot time wise. So I sent them on lunch while I figured out my bug. When they came back it was fine but one of the women was a bitch and rude to me so when she was fed up she took off (thank goodness) and the course went a lot better without her!

That's right children - Pillage, THEN Burn!
A birthday rhyme for you
on your special day
Monday's child is fair of face.
Tuesday's child is full of grace.
Wednesday's child is loving and giving.
Thursday's child works hard for a living,
Friday's child fears no foe.
Saturday's child has far to go.
And the child born on Sunday
is bonny and wise in every way.

Smile...It confuses people.
Instead of counting candles,
Or tallying the years,
Contemplate your blessings,
As your birthday nears.
Consider special people
Who love you, and who care,
And others whove enriched your life
Just by being there.
Think about the memories
Passing years can never mar,
Experiences great and small
That have made you who you are.
Another year is a happy gift,
So cut your cake, and say,
"Instead of counting birthdays,
I count blessings every day!"

Love that lives in the heart cannot be so easily terminated by time. Even though the encounter is brief its impression shall last a lifetime. No one can change the direction of love that lives in the heart. If you have loved that in itself is the answer.
